Description
With this engine gateway you can transfer the data of engines with J1708 and J1587 protocol to an NMEA2000 network. This gives you an optimal overview of operating hours, temperature, speed and much more on your multifunctional display or other end devices.
The J1708 protocol was installed in most engines in the 2005-2007 product series. This includes the J1587 protocol and Volvo’s own protocol, which was used in the EDC I and EDC II engines.
Engine malfunction does not occur, because the interface only sends data and does not receive it. Configuration is done via a text file, which must be saved on an optional microSD card and subsequently inserted into the existing card slot.
